Our Employee Spotlight is on Emma Hall!
At the beginning of every month we are getting together with a member of #teamBTE and celebrating them! We have a very dedicated and hard working team that ensure all our customers are looked after as best as possible. Whether in sales or service, or at our Head Office or other depots; every team member is important to us.
Emma has been working with us for an impressive 11 years and so knows a lot about BTE and has many a story to tell! Emma has predominantly worked in our Accounts department at Head Office and is an essential part of the team. You can find her in the office with a coffee in hand or in our new BTE gym.
We sat down with Emma earlier this month and here is what we found out…
What is your job title?
Senior Accounts Administrator
Briefly describe your job role
Mainly involves sales ledger, purchase ledger and payroll
What are your top likes?
Food/drink, keeping fit, music and holidays
And what are your dislikes?
Liquorice Allsorts, lazy people and bad timekeeping
If you had to choose your top 3 TV series, what would they be?
Line of Duty, Power and Queen of the South
What is your favourite biscuit?
Bourbon
What are the values that drive you?
Respect from others, learning new things, meeting targets/deadlines, working as part of a team and being organised.
What do you like about working at BTE?
Good working environment, great people to work with who I also class as friends. I have been here for over 11 years and from this the knowledge of the business.
What would you improve at BTE?
Flexible working hours or shorter hours!
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Spending time socialising with family and friends, keeping fit, dog walks with springer spaniel Milo and cuddles with my cat, Boo.
