Kubota have been a long standing partner of BTE Plant Sales and in 2024 we celebrate 30 years as one of their distributors.
They are world-renowned not only for their construction machines but also agricultural and ground care equipment, and industrial engines. Kubota manufactures many of the most popular and dependable machines in the market right now and have established themselves as a trusted and innovative brand across multiple industries.
In 2022, Kubota celebrated their 25th Year as being the UK and ROI’s Number 1 mini excavator provider which is no mean feat! Qualities such as dependability, comfort, and adaptability set their excavators apart from the competition and they are continuously working to improve their products to keep ahead of the game.
As well as mini excavators ranging from 1 to 8 tonne, Kubota have an excellent range of other construction machines including:

Kubota also offers a range of Smart Energy Solutions – a range that is continuing to grow. This includes the all-electric compact tracked dumpers, the compact electric wheel loaders and the KX019-4Sl which is a 1.9 tonne excavator powered by an LPG engine. Kubota take great pride in what they put out to the market which is why they are rarely first to market. Instead, they take their time, and really focus on what the customer wants and their pain points before launching any new innovative product. They want to get it right the first time.

We are excited to see Kubota continuing to grow and invest in the construction industry. They have invested £100m into the expansion of its Hirakata Plant in Japan which will see its annual production of mini-excavators soar from 48,000 to 78,000 units. With this due to impact the UK industry come 2025, we cannot wait to be able to provide our customers with more of their market-leading excavators.
