For December’s Employee Spotlight we have had the pleasure of catching up with our Managing Director, Rebecca Bryson.
In July this year BTE Plant Sales had a very exciting company announcement. Rebecca Bryson became majority shareholder of the business and Managing Director. Not only was this a sign of further growth and longevity of BTE but was also a major step forward for showcasing the power of women in the construction industry. Although the past five months have been business as usual, Rebecca has been very busy both behind the scenes and front of house, ensuring BTE has solid foundations to support its future growth.
It was great to have a sit down with Rebecca and find out a bit more about her and what she gets up to, as and when she has spare time! Here is what we found out…
Job description:
Overseeing all departments, working closely with customers and manufacturers and ensuring all teams are productive and of course happy.

What are the values that drive you?
Being successful in life, I believe you have to be in it to win it! I am very competitive whether it’s sports, business or just life in general. I am always competing with myself and trying to be the best version of me.
What do you like about working at BTE?
The customers, manufacturers and staff make it a great place to work and they are one of the reasons why I am so passionate about the business.
What would you improve at BTE?
I would like to continue with our improvement plans to modernise the business and ensure we offer the best solutions for customers and staff, enabling their experience with BTE to be first-class.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy competing on my horse Freddie, clay shooting, spending time with my friends and family, and walking my springer-spaniel, Boss. I also love going out for food and having a drink…or two!
